We had some success but many broken and damaged trophies almost made us decide not to try and ship the trophies that were glued together .

After years of frustration and failure we finally learned how to ship the glass with almost no breakage or damage.

1. Frist we use a plastic bag to protect the glass and help prevent scratching etc. The trophy is then wrapped
in 1 inch bubble wrap so that all parts of trophy has at least 2 pieces covering them.
2. Then we wrap the trophy with a plastic wrap that encases it entirely making a rather compact unit that is totally protected and also give support.
3. We then put either 1 to 3 trophies in a box along with with peanuts and then seal the box.
4. The boxes that contain the trophies are then put in the actual mailing box a 270# double strength and filled with peanuts . We try to make sure there is 2 inches of packing around each box and when box is sealed the contents are secure and won't move around.
5. This is not a cheap or easy solution to shipping but it works. On a outgoing order of say $2000 (10 trophies) we easily have 2 hours of packing time and $50 in packing material. We accept this expense because if just one trophy were to be broken then to remake and ship at our expense would cost us twice that amount. Also our customers no matter where the fault lies when they get a broken trophy are not happy.
I might add on closing most of our shipments are UPS and they will not reimburse us for damage.
